Shailene Woodley and Theo James as well as Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort tandems have proven to be popular following the release of 'Divergent' and 'The Fault in Our Stars.' Now, it appears that James is similarly expanding his pairing options as he teams up with Dakota Fanning for the indie flick 'Franny.'

The drama, written and directed by Andrew Renzi, will also star Richard Gere. The filming for the movie has started last October 2013. Theo James and Dakota Fanning will be playing the role of young lovers Olivia and Luke.

Gere will be playing a "gregarious hedonist" whose life changes when he meets the newlyweds. He encounters them in the hope of finding a renewed purpose for his life.

Since fans are accustomed to seeing Shailene Woodley and Theo James, the latter's tandem with the blonde beauty is something to watch out for. In her interview with Teen magazine, the older sister of Elle Fanning describes what it's like to work with the 29-year-old hunk.

"It was great! He was really cool to work with so I enjoyed it. I didn't see [Divergent] but we had a really good time. It was cool. He's a really good guy," she gushed.

Meanwhile, Shailene Woodley and Theo James will still be seen as a couple as 'Insurgent' launches on March 2015. The real-life boyfriend of Irish actress Ruth Kearney says that the sequel will have more themes compared to 'Divergent.'

"It's so much bigger and has all these rich themes of trust and betrayal and a love story between two people that you haven't seen in films of this nature before!" he said during the San Diego Comic-Con panel 2014.

He also teased that "Sheo's" characters, Tris and Four, will be fighting a lot in 'Insurgent' because of their conflicting ideologies: "In the book, Tris and Four are arguing quite a lot for various reasons, so we sat down with Robert [Schwentke] to figure out the crux of what's behind the problem and we discovered the problem was one of trust and not being able to share with each other in this crazy, f***** up world."
