"The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers revealed how the surprises in the series always seem to come up as per account of cast James Spader, as executive producer tunes out the pressure regarding the series.

Cast James Spader dished out "The Blacklist' season 2 spoilers in a video clip published on the USA Today website:  "There's a sort of master list of loose ends that the writers have in the writer's room in Los Angeles and those are to be utilized throughout the course of the series," he said.

 "All of these allows for, I think, the very important element of surprise. Just when you think you have an understanding of where we are headed, or who someone else, they aren't," he added.

Meanwhile, executive producer John Eisendrath provided more "The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers to TV Fanatic when he said that there's a lot of pressure to deliver what fans have come to the expct heading into the second season.

But he said they learned to tune everything out.

"I rarely get out. I never get out. We're in the office and it feels like the world outside our office might as well be in a different universe. We don't really pay attention to it. We just try and tell the stories that we think are right for the show," he explained.

He said the second year is much more difficult because viewers have already their own perceptions and biases about the characters. On the upside, they now can write the characters they are familiar with.

"There's a certain shorthand that's super fun. We've only written the first episode and it's like getting back just like an old friend so that is incredibly fun," he added.

However, the showrunner remained coy about Red's identity and his relationship to Elizabeth when asked for more "The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers, as he said: "I do think that while some of the deeper truths will have to wait because, again, if we're lucky enough to be on the air for a few years you have to be patient."
