Kings of Leon Tour Dates 2014 USA Cancelled: Bus Accident Injures Nathan Followill, But ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ Performance Is Still On! [VIDEO]

Kings of Leon was forced to cancel all of their US tour dates through August 28, due to a bus accident which left drummer Nathan Followill with several broken ribs. Despite the upsetting news, the band will still be performing tonight on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon!"

Kings of Leon will be on break for the rest of August, while Followill recovers at home under doctor’s orders.

"The process is now to rest in order for healing to take place. To avoid complications and to make a full recovery, a break from performing to Aug. 28 is necessary," said Faiz Bhora, chief of thoracic surgery at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital, in a statement to the press.

According to EW, “the band was on their tour bus following their Saturday night show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of the bus, causing the driver to brake suddenly. Followill is still in the hospital…but fans got to see how the recovery was going when Kings of Leon posted a video of Followill to their YouTube account Monday.”

But do not fret, the rest of the group will still be performing on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” tonight on NBC!

While the drummer is in bed resting and recuperating from the Boston bus accident, Questlove will fill in for him exclusively tonight’s performance!

The Roots’ drummer will step in and the show will go on!

Questlove, now a hero to Kings of Leon fans all over the world, has saved the day!

We all wish Nathan Followill a speedy recovery. Hopefully, the whole KOL crew will be back on the road in no time.
