CCMA Awards 2014: Gord Bamford, Paul Brandt And Dierks Bentley Will Perform As Gord Bamford Aims To Get An Award

Gord Bamford, Paul Brandt, Terri Clark, Kira Isabella and Dierks Bentley had just been added to the roster to play on the upcoming 2014 Canadian Country Music Association or CCMA Awards on September 7 this year.

Eight awards will be given to the Canadian country music's biggest show that will be staged in Edmonton Alberta and will broadcast live on CBC Television.

Artists who will also play on the CCMA are Lennon and Maisy, stars of the Nashville series, one of the hit television's show's in the country.

CCMA released a full list of nominees with Brett Kissel leading in eight categories including the Single of the Year for his song Started with a Song.

Dean Brody and last year's winner Gord Bamford are very close with six and five nominations respectively.

Last year Gord Bamford took home five CCMA awards, which include best album, single of the year and best video.

Gord Bamford, this time is up for five more awards including single of the year of his hit song When Your Lips Are So Close.

Furthermore, Paul Brand which is the eight-time Juno Award winner will also play, the CCMA 2013 fan's choice award Terri Clark and Kira Isabella the CCMA 2013 female artist.

CCMA is built upon the theme "educate, elevate and celebrate the Canadian talent", this year's CCMA announced 152 nominees with 32 of whom are being nominated for the first time.
