Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks Breakup: Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks showed up separately to the Teen Choice Awards 2014, prompting more breakup talk amidst rumors that the 21-year old singer is dating Big Sean.

Ariana Grande dating Big Sean? The two musicians were caught by reporters kissing during a screening of the movie "The Purge."

"They have been friends since they made the song together," a source said of Ariana Grande and Big Sean. "They have been spending more time together and recently have been getting very close. They are both doing great."

Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks split for the second time last week. Pop singer Ariana Grande, who starred on "Sam and Cat" with Jennette McCurdy, until nearly naked selfies on Instagram reportedly scuttled the show, took to Twitter to post a long explanation over the weekend.

It looks like Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks are still broken after their separate entrances at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards this weekend. Grande won a bunch of awards at the Teen Choice Awards including Choice Female Artist and Choice Single Female Artist for her news single "Problem" which featured Iggy Azalea.

According to E! News, Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks split up last month after Brooks wasn't there for her when her grandfather died.

Ariana Grande took to Twitter to say "You learn a lot about love, life & the ppl around you during a time of crisis. July was painful for many reasons but of all the personal loss I suffered last month, the loss of my grandfather, a true gentleman, was the only one that truly mattered. I thank my loves for being so in tune to what is good and right for me and my heart... I hope you will surround yourselves with people who will be there for you thru the bad times, not just the good. I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart. august is about to be a beautiful beautiful month. looking forward to all the good coming up... it's the only thing we should focus on."

A Source told E! News "When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her. People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn't. Ariana just felt he wasn't there like he should have been."

With the split from Brooks and the end of the Jennette McCurdy co-starring franchise "Sam and Cat," Grande may emerge even bigger. HollywoodLife.com quoted an insider saying "This is Ariana's moment and she knows it, so she wants to put her full-court press on her music. With the current breakup and how her career is going, she really thinks that it will only help her songwriting. She is interested in making great songs and she wants to be single doing it for the time being."

Brooks is a member of the Australian YouTube comedy troupe and prank posters The Janoskians.

Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks have been going out since August 2012. Ariana and Nathan broke up after four months in December that year. In July last year Grande was  dating Nathan Sykes, who stars on "The Wanted." Grande and Brooks got back together last May when they were seen kissing after Grande played  the iHeart Radio Music Awards.
