Nick Jonas Praises Fans For Supporting His Latest Music, Reveals New Single ‘Jealous’

In a recent interview with E! News, musician Nick Jonas, of Jonas Brothers fame, opened up about the reaction his new music is stirring among longtime JoBro fans. He also hinted at a few details of his second single since breaking from the band.

"There are moments when you sort of question yourself like anything and wonder if you're making the right move forward," Jonas told E! News of changing his musical sound. " I feel like the minute I really started creating, I came to a place where I was locked in and felt like I was making the right move, pushing myself and continuing to be around people that make me better.

Jonas, who gave E! News the exclusive at the HFPA Grants Banquet in Beverly Hills on Thursday, was hopeful about this turn in his career. "It's been a great process. I'm really looking forward to people hearing the whole record."

Despite the outpour of fan girl sadness when the Jonas Brothers announced they were breaking-up in October, the youngest Jonas has moved forward and launched his newest solo venture. Since releasing "Chains" on July 24, his first solo single after signing with Island Records, Jonas has reportedly been pleased with the fan support.

"The response has been incredible," said Jonas. "It's so different from what I've released in the past and it is sort of helping change opinions and evolve things and moving forward."

So what do his former band mates, big brothers Kevin and Joe, think of Nick's newest music?

"They heard [Chains] before everyone else did. They loved it," he told E! News. "They were really positive. It was great to feel that from them. They all have their things going on as well. We're supportive for each other till the end."

Jonas also spilled the beans on his next single. "In the next couple weeks, you'll be seeing a new song, it's called 'Jealous,'" he teased. "'Jealous' is a little bit more up-tempo. It's a fun song with a topic I think a lot of people relate to. It will make you get up and dance a little bit but it still has a little bit on the dark side."

In July, Jonas also confirmed to E! News that he would be doing a collaboration with long-time friend Demi Lovato.
