Singer Kim Hyun Joong made Chinese fans very happy with his recent concert in Shanghai.

Kim performed for 5,000 fans on August 16 and was further recognized for his "remarkable voice."

Kim Hyun Joong made his return to China for the first time in two years, his last time being in 2012 for his Asia Tour fan meeting. He came back to greet fans with a more mature image and a noticeably stronger stage performance.

Kim was seen performing 20 of his hit songs, including "Beauty Beauty," "His Habit," "Break Down" and "Lucky Guy."

His charisma took over the stage, proving to fans that the 28-year-old had been working incredibly hard to prepare for his ongoing world tour. Kim will continue on with his tour in China in Guangzhou and Beijing before heading to Mexico, Peru and Thailand, according to Allkpop.  

The "Boys Over Flowers" star's world tour will end this September.

The actor, singer-songwriter started his world tour in Seoul back in June, and recently completed the Japanese portion of his tour, holding three wildly successful concerts and meeting with 35,000 fans.

Kim has a solid fan base in Japan, especially after the release of his Japanese single "Hot Sun" earlier this month. Kim Hyun Joong became the first male foreign artist to debut at No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Single Chart two times in a row, according to Star N News.

To show his gratitude for the support of his fans, Kim traveled around Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, Sendai and Fukuoka for multiple autograph events earlier this month as well.

Throughout the course of his career, Kim Hyun Joonghas made sure to be the best he can be for fans. During an interview with MSN Entertainment XIN back in 2012, Kim revealed that he'd always like to remain "perfect" for his fans.

"I feel that Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong and normal guy Kim Hyun Joong is very different. Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong tries to show his perfect side to the fans, whereas the normal Kim Hyun Joong leads a normal life just like the others. I spend my time reading cartoons and playing soccer," stated the actor.
