Christina Aguilera baby girl name: Christina Aguilera revealed her daughter's name via Twitter one day after news broke that Christina had given birth to her second child.

The singer revealed the name of her second child, Summer Rain Rutler.

"So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world," Aguilera tweeted.

According to Us Weekly, Christina Aguilera gave birth via C-section on Saturday, Aug. 16, after arriving at at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif., with her fiancé Matt Rutler at 8 a.m.

Summer Rain is Aguilera's first child with Rutler. Christina and Matt met on the set of "Burlesque," her 2010 movie with Cher. This is the second child for Christina. Aguilera is mother to six-year-old son Max from her previous marriage to Jordan Bratman. Christina and Bratman married in 2005 but split up five years later. Their divorce was finalized in April 2011.

Christina announced she was pregnant in February, one week after Aguilera announced her engagement to film producer Rutler.

Aguilera will return to the NBC singing competition "The Voice" for its eighth season. She is reportedly working on a new album. Reports say she hit the recording studio on Aug. 11.
