Julianne Hough To Return to Dancing With the Stars for Season 19; Two-Time DWTS Winner To Judge Moves

Julianne Hough returns to Dancing With the Stars for Season 19. The two-time DWTS winner Julianne Hough will be the new fourth judge on the reality show. "Dancing With the Stars" Season 19 returns on Sept. 15.

Dancing With the Stars producers hit Twitter to confirm the news, tweeting, "It's Judge @juliannehough! #GMADancing #DWTS RT if you're excited!"

Julianne was a professional dancer on the show from season four through season eight.

The 26-year-old pro dancer officially joins the "Dancing with the Stars" judges' panel. Hough joins Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Len Goodman.

Julianne Hough announced her return Thursday, Aug. 21, Good Morning America.

Julianne has made a few guest appearances on DTWS over the years. Hough sat in for judge Len Goodman on one of last year's shows.

Dancing with the Stars pairs professional dancers with celebrities and athletes in a weekly ballroom dancing competition. DWTS pros Karina Smirnoff, Sharna Burgess, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and Val Chmerkovskiy have been paired with celebrities like Drew Carey, Danica McKellar, James Maslow, Meryl Davis, and Billy Dee Williams.

Julianne Hough is a professional ballroom dancer, country music singer and actress. Her first leading acting role was in the 2011 film remake of Footloose. Hough was nominated for a Creative Arts Primetime Emmy in 2007 for Outstanding Choreography in season five of DWTS.

Dancing with the Stars season 19 premieres on Monday, September 15 @ 8/7c on ABC!
