Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora Rehearse for the VMAs: What Do The 'Black Widow' Chart-Toppers Have In Store For MTV’s Big Award Show? And How Did Iggy Get Her Name?

Can't get "Black Widow" out of your head? Well, you're in luck. Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora will be performing their hit at this Sunday's VMAs on MTV.

As the ladies prepare for their big night, Azalea and Ora took to social media to reveal their excitement for the Video Music Awards.

Ora posted two pictures with collaborator on Instagram. In the first, the ladies can be seen making faces while wearing matching black and red "Black Widow" jackets, a large spider printed on the back of each.

Ora also uploaded a black and white picture of she and Azalea on stage, side-by-side while they go through their performance.

Later, Azalea retweeted a Vine post by MTV, in which she and Ora express their enthusiasm for Sunday's VMAs.

So, what can fans expect from the songstresses?

No details of the performance have circled yet so it seems that the ladies are staying mum.  Fans will just have to wait and see what kind of fireworks they bring to the MTV show.

As for Azalea, in a recent interview on the VEVO series "AKA," the rapper opened up about how she got her stage name.

"I had a dog called Iggy, who I loved very, very much, " she explained. "One time he got bitten by a snake and he couldn't move his legs, and I realized he had killed the snake."

The Australian-born musician goes on to clarify that her dog lived and she eventually decided to use Iggy as her stage name.

The "Azalea" came later after her grandfather gave her some advice.

"He said to me, 'You can't have a one-word stage name,'" recounted Azalea. "It made perfect mathematical sense. So I had to think of a good last name."

Azalea is the name of the street where her mother lives.
