On August 26, SHINHWA celebrated 6,000 days since its debut.

The group debuted in 1998, and celebrated its legendary longevity with a series of tweets and pictures. Rather than conventional messages to their fans, the members of SHINHWA released individual messages from specific members, but didn't say which members of the six-member group said what.

The group also released a commemorative picture, showing all six members together for the first time since Andy was indicted in illegal gambling charges last November.

The first member's message read, "SHINHWA 6000 days! Thank you so, so much for your congratulations. I will also congratulation you~ SHINHWA Changjo [SHINHWA's Fanclub] is the best! Thank you for loving us until now. We will continue to bring you even better songs and even better performances. I love you heart heart byong byong [sound effect]."

He also included pictures of dogs, one of which was definitely Andy's dog Fany.

The second member said: "Congratulations~ Congratulations~ Congratulations For SHINHWA's 6,000 days~ It's already been 6,000 days since the majestic lion hair [debut] and we tried to change society! I knew that our SHINHWA would keep going this long. And we will continue going for a long time in the same way. I don't know how I know, but I know this. Not only 6,000 days but 60,0000 days, 600,000 days.... We'll probably not get there.... Let's be together forever! I love you!"

The third post included the picture of the six members. "From 980324 [March 24,1998] until 6,000 days SHINHWA together with SHINHWA Changjo!! What other words should I say~ SHINHWA and SHINHWA Changjo have the strongest connection [literally universe/space] I love you ^^"

The fourth message seems to have ruined all of the fun and gave away that it was Hyesung, by adding a YouTube video with an audio message. His tweet read: "Each day passes with something I'm thankful for".

SHINHWA has been around for 16 years, living up to the meaning of their name in Korean, "legendary."

By the end of August 27, these four posts were shared on Twitter, and it is unclear whether the other members will post messages on August 28.
