Mockingbird is a trained Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. who graduated at the top of her class. She's actually a doctor because she earned a Ph.D. in biology. Mockingbird was injected with an experimental drug combination of Super Soldier Serum, the one that that gave Captain America his strength, and the Infinity Formula. She died in the comic series and came back as a reanimated corpse and then more permanently. Mockingbird was first seen in the Ka-Zar story written by Gerry Conway and pencilled by Barry Smith in Astonishing Tales #6 in June 1971.
