Swansea City will face off against rival West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Swansea City, coming out of a 1-0 win over Burnley, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk said none of the members of his team have earned themselves a call up to the England squad, Wales Online reports.

"It would be nice to see if the England manager would come down and watch our players," Monk said, according to the site.

"I know he's never been here to the Liberty Stadium to watch them as England manager and he'd have to come and watch us first before he can pick anyone."

West Bromwich Albion, coming out of a 0-0 tie with Southampton, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Irvine said Rooney is a natural England captain, Express and Star reports.

"I have known Wayne for a long time and from that perspective I'm delighted for him," Irvine said, according to the site.

"I'm not surprised that he has been named England captain. I always thought he would have the qualities to be a captain for club and country."
