Chad Future Debuts "When U Call" Featuring Jamie Seo, Dispels Rumors About His Work

2014 has proven to be a year of much scandal in K-Pop from the Big Three in Korean entertainment. Imagine the controversy someone can stir up who does not fit the traditional mold of the K-Pop artist? When your name is Chad Future, it can be a lot. For now, scandal talk is low, as the release of his latest mv, "When U Call" ft. Jamie Seo has several social media networks speaking positively.

Hours after the music video's debut, the Chad Future participated in a phone interview with YouTube personality Multifacetedacg to answer unique questions fielded from Time Travelers--the name of his fandom--and research on his career path thus far. 

Chad Future was eager to talk about the developments of his first album, released on June 30th of this year, and the music video that came out on August 29th. "When U Call" packs a steady beat with a catchy chorus sang by newcomer Jamie Seo. The video takes viewers through the various phases of a relationship. From "love at first sight," to the first fight, the video is well-paced with the track. He shared, "We were supposed to have a few writers help us out with the song but [Jamie and I] ended up writing the whole song in one session." Future also revealed that he has contributed to the writing process for every song on his mini album.

When asked about his dedication to learning how to speak Korean, Future replied, "I do have a full time tutor," whom he works with on a weekly basis. "I've been studying for two years pretty seriously." He stated that he utilizes audio tools, books and watches Korean television shows with subtitles to supplement his learning.

One of the biggest rumors about Chad Future is that he comes from a rich family who affords the unique experiences he has. "A lot of people say [that] my dad has all this money or my mom has all this money," he remarked. Future confessed that both his mother and father are blue collar workers in Michigan and that his career path has been all through hard work and having a positive team around him. In fact, to ensure he maintains his creative rights, he established a production company called Vendetta Studios and houses various projects under its umbrella. "None of my family is funding this. It all comes from Vendetta."
