Idols In Print: The K-Pop Male Masculinity

It seems that posing in the magazine does not only apply to women, as the men of K-pop are also showing their masculinity and toughness. Also, more and more magazines have been recently featuring men.

In the latest issue of Marie Claire, actor and heartthrob Seo In Guk shows his robust trait while also keeping his boy-next-door image. The actor features neutral colours of khaki, navy blue and black which mostly are the chosen colours of men.

Meanwhile, rising international star, Lee Byung Hun is featured in the latest issue of L'Officiel Homes. The actor gives more idea on the more matured male's outfit especially on a work day.

SHINee's Taemin is also featured in the September Issue of Harper's Bazaar. The new solo artist shows how work outfits can be stylish and chic at the same time. Again, it shows the colours of black and navy blue but has the touch of white to soften the look.

Popular idol boy group, EXO also poses for the latest issue of 1st Look Magazine. The young boys show toughness in their outfits wearing leather jackets also showing animal prints on them.

BIGBANG's T.O.P also did not fail to swoon the hearts of women on the latest issue of High Cut Magazine. The BIGBANG rapper and actor featured his charisma in a black and white outfit.

Since it is just a few days away from Fall, most of the outfits show colours that is usually seen in the Autumn season. It also gives a hint on what men's fashion will be this autumn. Men being often featured in magazines only proves that men are also getting vain when it comes to their appearance and their style.
