A new Neil Young album is reportedly in the works and it is something very different from what fans have been used to as it will be an orchestral record.

The Neil Young album is said to be titled "Storytone," has reportedly been in the works and will be out by November.

While the rock icon has not divulged details about his 35^th album, fans were excited and more than happy to learn of an alleged clue posted on the website of composer-arranger Chris Walden.

The website allegedly posted an "upcoming Neil Young album" under the "recent projects" section. The information reportedly mentioned the title of the album and its release date of November 4 but was edited to its now vague version.

Music contractor Gina Zimmitti previously posted photos of Walden and Young's recording sessions, which fans have taken as an affirmation of the clandestine record.

"First day recording Chris Walden's fantastic arrangements for Neil Young," said a post on Zimmitti's Facebook account on August 19. "We don't feel cheesy calling this one a 'precious moment.'"

On August 29, Zimmitti confirms Neil Young's recording session with an orchestra by posting a photo of the legend's car with the caption: "Check out Neil Young's converted 1959 LincVolt parked in the Sony lot yesterday for more days of recording with orchestra and arranger Michael Bearden."

In an interview with Billboard magazine, Young opened up about his wanting to play with an orchestra. "I'd like to make a record with a full-blown orchestra, live - a mono recording with tone mic," Young said. "I want to do something like that where we really record what happened, with one point of view and the musicians moved closer and farther away, the way it was done in the past. To me that's a challenge and it's a sound that's unbelievable, and you can't get it any other way. So I'm into doing that."

If rumors are to be believed, the new Neil Young album will be the legend's 35^th studio LP and his first after filing divorce from his wife of 36 years, Pegi Young.
