Movie 'Battle Of Myeongnyang' Hits 17 Million Viewers

The movie "Battle of Myeongnyang" hit 17 million viewers as of September 3.

This is a new record of all Korea movies from the past.

"Battle of Myeongnyang" was setting records since its release date on July 30. The opening score was 680,000, then average day 980,000 and the total of 17 million.

Viewers were of all ages from children to seniors. Lee Soon Shin's leadership and the Korean history attracted many audiences nation wide.

"Battle of Myeongnyang" is about the history of Lee Soon Shin defeating the Japanese navy of 330 ships with only 12 ships.
