Macbook Air Retina Display Release Date In October? Apple Giving Way To iPhones And iWatch First Before New MacBook Lineup?

A lot of Apple fans expected the MacBook Air Retina display release date earlier this year during the manufacturer's WWDC event last June, but it never happened.

Instead of announcing the new MacBooks, the Cupertino manufacturer launched the iOS 8 and all of the juicy new features which come with it.

And so as Apple's schedule goes, the only possible release date left for the new MacBook Air laptops will be this October.

According to previous reports, Apple's new laptops may have a brand new 12-inch version which would be even thinner than the thinnest MacBooks in the market today.

Some rumors even claim that the new laptops would finally get a touchscreen, but considering Apple has the best trackpad in the business, that may not be the case unless Apple itself takes away that trackpad.

In the recent report by GSM Arena, Apple will launch its new iPhone 6 at an event next week, and it would probably be joined by the rumored iWatch which has been in the rumor mill for years already.

However, it is important to note that the iPhone which will make its debut next week is said to be the 4.7-inch version and not the 5.5-inch edition. In previous reports, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will get higher-end specs and a sapphire display, and should be available for the market just in time for the holiday shopping season.

If that is the case, then we can expect the Cupertino giant to include the iPhone phablet in the release date of the MacBook AIr with Retina display as well as the new MacBook Pros. The iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3 may also be announced on the same day.

Are you already excited for the more powerful and Retina-boasting MacBook Air?
