Kanye West Announces Adidas 'Yeezy III' Release Date; Sneaker Collab Between Hip Hop Star And Retail Brand Out In November

The Kanye West and Adidas sneaker collaboration has been given a release date. Fans can start bracing themselves for the coming of "Yeezy III" in November.

Originally slated for a release in June, the Kanye West and Adidas sneaker collaboration was moved to this fall and the news was broken by West himself during the Perth, Australia leg of his "Yeezus" tour.

In the middle of his "Runaway" monologue, West dropped the details, saying: "Now I feel good because we've been working hard and we got the new Yeezys 3 coming in November and this is just the beginning. This is something that I want to create and do for the rest of my life. A new beginning. A new story, a new chapter - new laughter"

While this is not the first time West collaborated with a sporting goods retail brand, the partnership with Adidas will reportedly be less expensive than the sneakers he released with Nike.

"It might have looked a little bit wild when I was talking and turning up but the only thing that matters is that this time next year, when I say, 'Do y'all want Yeezys?' You say you was able to at least try on a pair, at least cop a pair - that they was in your hands and you weren't being held back by some company that will give any athlete 500 billion dollars but if you take somebody that actually is part of this and sent to the office in fourth grade for drawing sneakers and went to art school and decided to do music. They talk to you like it didn't happen, like it wasn't important," explained West.

The Kanye West and Adidas collaboration is the latest addition to the growing list of partnerships between rap superstars and the retail brand. In August, Big Sean announced the latest pair he worked on with the brand.
