"Scandal" season 4 spoilers hint that Fitz will actually make a better president without Olivia as he tries to focus on work. Meanwhile, a "Body of Proof" star is breathing new life to the character of the first daughter.

According to Entertainment Weekly's "Scandal" season 4 spoilers, now that Olivia left Washington, Fitz is able to focus on a "very important mission."

"As he begins his second term in office, Fitz has decided to take his administration in a new direction, using his power as POTUS for good in order to make a positive impact on the nation," it said.

Meanwhile, more "Scandal" season 4 spoilers are reported by TVLine as it said that Madeline Carroll was replaced by Mary Mouser of "Body of Proof" as Fitz daughter.

"Karen, as played by Carroll, made her debut in Season 3 when she visited her parents from boarding school," TVLine said. "The role is expected to be beefed up under Mouser, particularly in the wake of the death of Karen's older bro, Jerry Jr."

Previous "Scandal" season 4 spoilers by TVLine revealed that Sonya Walger will play a possible recurring role although the details of her character are kept under wraps.

"In an echo of Desmond and Penny's star-crossed 'Lost' love story, Walger arrives a little more than two years after Henry Ian Cusick's Stephen Finch was written out," the website said.

Matthew del Negro of "Mistresses" also joined the cast in a recurring, but secret, role. Apart from Sonya Walger and Matthew del Negro, other celebrities who have been confirmed to make a guest appearance in the fourth season of "Scandal" include Portia de Rossi, Mary McCormack and Josh Randall.

Next season, Fitz and Mellie's relationship will be highlighted following the death of their son. Reports also claim that the show will feature an Olivia Pope who is still very much in love with the president even after she hopped on the plane with Jake.
