Popular girl group 2NE1 sweeping the charts in Korea with their unconventional experimental love song "I Love You."

The song garnered a lot of attention even before its release due to member's transformation in not only in music style infusing electronic and trot to come up with a completely new sound.

As 2NE1 continues to sweep the charts CNN Newsroom International briefly discusses 2NE1's latest hit single "I Love You." Stating, "All girl pop band topping the charts, the group called 2NE1 it's their single "I Love You" it's number 1 this week in South Korea, the music video has already almost 6 million hits on YouTube."

2NE1's unconventional song seems to satisfy not only Korean sentiments but non K-Pop listeners, as the hit single was played over on one of Britain's most popular radio stations of BBC Radio. SPIN magazine praised "I Love You," describing it as a "perfect summation of pop's present and future." Also celebrity blogger Perez Hilton added his adoration for the song.

2NE1 is currently also gearing up for their American debut as part of their first world tour "New Evolution" at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Friday, August 17. Then head west to perform at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Friday, August 24.
