What happened on "Witches Of East End" last week?

On "Sex, Lies, and Birthday Cake," last Sunday's Episode 8 of Season 2, "Freya and Frederick celebrate a milestone birthday; Tarkoff puts pressure on Frederick to get things done; Ingrid and Dash grow closer; Tommy gets a surprise from Wendy; Joanna faces one of her worst fears."

According to Fashion & Style, "Get ready, 'Witches of East End' fans - death is coming to the sleepy town of East End. A new promo for Sunday's episode, 'Smells Like King Spirit', declares that 'no one is safe' from the reaper. The end of the preview shows a totally hysterical Joanna (Julia Ormond) and Wendy (Mädchen Amick), so we're pretty sure we can narrow down the possible victims to Freya (Jenna Dewan-Tatum), Ingrid (Rachel Boston), or Freddie (Christian Cooke). There's a rumor going around that both Ingrid and Freya will be murdered (which makes sense since they always die on the same day), but that they'll be revived by Wendy in the following episode, 'The Fall of the House of Beauchamp'. We can also expect to see a big fight between the Killian (Daniel DiTomasso) and Dash (Eric Winter). 'Let's just say there may or may not be a big warlock battle coming up where we get to see Killian really wield some hardcore power,' showrunner Maggie Friedman revealed before the promo was released. 'It's a really amazing story line, really amazing sequence.' From the sound of it, the whole episode will be pretty intense. 'There's a crazy twist that happens in Episode 9 that fans will not believe so they should really tune in to watch,' continued Friedman. 'Seriously, Episode 9 is nuts. I freaked out watching it and I knew what was coming!'" Who's ready for Episode 9 now?
