The BlackBerry has officially unveiled the Porsche Design P'9983 at an event in Dubai on Wednesday, the device is a follow-up of the P'9982 smartphone from last year.

In the report of the CBC BlackBerry disclosed that the Porsche Design P'9982 comes with a luxury-edition smartphone QWERTY keyboard.

In terms of specs, it has a 3.1-inch touchscreen 720x720 pixel display, a 2 GB RAM, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, a 2100 mAh removable battery, a limited edition BBM PIN, an 8MP camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.

According to a press release in the report of the CBC, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 comes with a premium stereo headset, international charging kit, a polishing cloth and a USB cable.

Also the device features a "premium quality materials such as sapphire glass for the camera lens, forged stainless steel for the Porsche Design floating logo and chassis, and a special glass-weave technology for the back door," in the report of the Mobile Syrup.

The Porsche Design P'9983 of BlackBerry will be available at Porsche Design stores "around the world by the beginning of October 2014," according to the Mobile Syrup.

According to the report of CBC, the price of Porsche Design P'9983 listed on the Porsche Design Group's website is at €1650, about $2,340 Cdn.

Furthermore, the said device has several custom cover plates and cases that are made from handcrafted Italian leather available in color dark brown, Paloma grey, yellow, blue green, pomegranate, blue, salsa and orange.
