Released of the newest WWE video game in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be delayed by three weeks. WWE 2K15 is slated to be in the market on October 28 but 2K Sports said in a statement last September 16 that WWE 2K15 would be out in the market on November 18 instead. However, 2K Sports will continue to release WWE 2K15 in PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 28, its original release date.

Greg Thomas, 2K Sports in-house developer Visual Concepts President said in an interview with Polygon, "The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15next-gen experience fully meets our expectations."

WWE 2K15 is the newest video game that would be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will also be the first WWE video game that will be released in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It was reported earlier that CM Punk (the professional wrestler who left WWE without finishing his contract) is said to be in discussion with 2K Sports because of his inclusion in the said video game. 2K Sports included Punk in their newest WWE video game version despite Punk's rumoured hiatus with the WWE league early this year. There are speculations that Punk is actually seeking royalty from WWE and 2K Sports.

Aside from Thomas' statement, no definite reason has been mentioned regarding the delay. Video game fanatics are expecting that the upcoming WWE 2K15 version is going to have highly improved graphics and exclusive MyCareer mode.

Video game and WWE fanatics would have to wait a bit longer for them to have a glimpse of the most anticipated latest version of WWE 2K15 but everyone is certain that this video game will meet their expectations.

For international users, the game will see its next-gen release on November 18, three days after its release in North America.
