West Ham United will face off against rival Liverpool on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

West Ham United, coming out of a 2-2 tie with Hull City, is expected to be the favorite of the match.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce said Mario Balotelli must "become a more responsible adult" to succeed at Liverpool, the Daily Mail reports.

"He (Balotelli) showed in the Champions League this week that he can score from a half-chance and if he has managed to improve his temperament on and off the field and become a more responsible adult, then I think he could be a big player for Liverpool," he said, according to the site.

"He's not a Luis Suarez, but if he can finish the season in double figures, then he will have been a success."

Liverpool, coming out of a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa, is expected to be the underdog of the match.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers said he dismisses Sam Allardyce's claim that Liverpool were complacent against Aston Villa, The Telegraph reports.

"It was their first Champions League game back for many, many years," Rodgers said, according to the site.

"Maybe that caused a bit of complacency in the performance and Aston Villa took full advantage of it. No, we are allergic to complacency here. We are not good enough to do that. Villa played well."
