Idol group MYNAME has ranked number 9 on the Oricon chart.

On July 25, MYNAME's agency stated, "MYNAME's debut single, 'Message,' has ranked number 1 on the Japanese album site, Tower Record and has placed number 9 on the Oricon Daily Chart."

MYNAME's Japanese management has been making big promotion events to spread the word of the group and become more known.

Also, the day MYNAME's album was released, other famous Japanese artists such as AAA and EXILE, released their albums too. MYNAME was able to beat all the Japan artists and rank nuber 9 on the charts.

They have received positive feedback such as, "The songs and the members seem to fit well together", "They are a rookie idol group to look out for" and "Their live singing is amazing."

Their entertainment company also stated, "Their albums were selling out fast on album sites. As a way to commemorate their official Japan debut, they will also have a live concert for their fans. We are so shocked to see them rank in the top 10 on the Oricon chart. We plan to work harder to get their music known in Japan."

MYNAME is currently promoting their single and appearing on TV shows, radio and other activities in Japan.
