2014 Porsche Cayenne Vs BMW X5: Which Is The Best SUV?

The Porsche Cayenne is equipped with a 3.6L gas V-6 engine which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, it offers a 300hp and 295 ft-lbs of torque and the "Cayenne recorded 15mpg in city roads and 22mpg on highways."

On the other hand, the BMW X5 does not run on a petrol system, because the said SUV is powered by a 3L "naturally aspirated diesel Inline-6 motor that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission." The BMW X5 produce a 255hp and 413 ft-lbs of torque. The said SUV is able to achieve a 23mog on city road and 31mpg on highways. Which is an edge of X5 to Cayenne.

Both SUV runs on the AWD system and can accommodate about 5 passengers, in terms of design the BMW X5 comes with an "all-terrain function" which offers the user to take on some off-road challenge. While the Cayenne is more beautiful because it comes with Porsche hallmark design, and the user seems would want to get it muddy or filthy making it not suitable to use in the off-road challenge.

In terms of price, the BMW X5 comes with $56,600 while the Porsche Cayenne is at $48,850.
