A main actor of Boardwalk Empire has reported to play a key role on Agent Carter.

In the report of the Entertainment Weekly, actor Shea Whigham "has been cast as the male lead in Marvel's Agent Carter.

"Whigham will play the tough but fair-minded SSR Chief Roger Dooley, the man who will oversee agents Carter, Thompson (Chad Michael Murray) and Sousa (Enver Gjokaj)," according to the report of the Deadline.

Shea Whigham plays the role as Nucky's (Steve Buscemi) younger brother on HBO's Boardwalk Empire.
