Japanese fans are "going crazy" over boy group 2PM's recently released single "Midaretemina."

2PM ranked No. 2 on Japan's Oricon Weekly Music Chart with the hit track, which was released on September 17, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

2PM's eighth Japanese single also took the No. 3, 4 and 5 spots on the Tower Records Combined Sales Chart, according to the news outlet Star N News. The "Midaretemia" album also topped the Tower Records World Chart for three consecutive days while also peaking at No. 1, 5 and 7 on Japan's HMV Records Shop Asia Chart.

The music video for "Midaretemina" has been getting attention from fans as well.

"The Japanese version is fun too. It brings a smile on my face. LOVE 2PM," wrote YouTube user MMSisters 2PM.

The boy band's fourth Korean studio album, "Go Crazy," was also seen ranking No. 1 and No. 2 on the Tower Records Combined Sales Chart. The album came in at No. 3 on Oricon's Overseas Album Chart as well.

The six-member K-pop group has also been dominating music charts in Korea with "Go Crazy." 2PM's recently released album debuted at No. 1 on the weekly chart for the Korean music site Soribada, according to the website Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

2PM returned to the K-pop scene with "Go Crazy" after a 16-month hiatus, according to Billboard.

Since the release of their Korean album and Japanese single, the members of 2PM have been busy promoting their new material, performing on major music programs in Korea, including "Music Bank."

The idol members also made an appearance on the September 23 episode of the Korean talk show "Magic Eye," where they opened up about the pressure of looking nice at the airport.

"Once, I went to the airport dressed in such a comfortable way that I got in trouble with J.Y. Park [Park Jin Young, CEO of JYP Entertainment]. They were like mountain clothes that were reversible. The practicality was the best because I could wear it [one way] when I left and then just turn it inside out for the return trip, J.Y. Park said something to me about that image," explained 2PM member Wooyoung.
