Prior to this, actor and singer Rain had sent a letter to actors and staff members of the movie "R2B" before the release. The letter contained his apology for not being able to be with the members at the release date, and a lot of teasing at Lee Hana.
In the letter, Rain said to Lee Hana, "My cute friend Hana. Are you still really serious? Stop the 'serious' now. I'm not interested in you."
On July 25th, Lee Hana had come out in SBS "Midnight TV Entertainment" and said, "Rain keeps eyeing me, and I'm guessing it's because he sees me as a girl. Because he's not saying anything to this, I'll take it as a yes. But it's a bit overwhelming", joking around.
Internet users who saw this commented, "They're going to start liking each other like this", "The two must be really close", "What's really the relationship between them?"
