Emma Bunton News: Singer Hinted An Upcoming Spice Girls Reunion While Promoting UNICEF Maternal and Newborn Tetanus

It has been eighteen years since the British girl group, the Spice Girls had their last album that slammed worldwide charts. On Thursday, Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) hinted that a Spice Girls reunion is possible as the group is still communicating regularly about their lives, the Daily Mail Online news said.

"We're always emailing and chatting about it. But it's generally all about the timing and what everyone is doing. We all have children now and are so busy. I love the fact that people are still wanting another Spice Girl tour. I love working with the girls and I know Mel B spoke about it recently," Emma said in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail.

The announcement came after Mel B, now an X-factor judge, also expressed her wish to have a Spice Girls comeback after their last performance in the 2012 London Olympics.

"I love the fact that people are still wanting another Spice Girl tour. I love working with the girls and I know Mel B spoke about it recently. I have to admit doing the Olympics was a little taster for me. Whenever I watch the Olympics performance i just feel so happy because honestly, it was the best thing we ever did."

The interview took place days after the 38-year old singer had promoted the Maternal and Newborn Tetanus campaign in Madagascar sponsored by UNICEF and Pampers wherein the public can support the cause by buying one pack of Pampers Diapers in which costs will be allocated to one shot of anti-tetanus.

The UNICEF Ambassador went to the target place to gather firsthand information of the status and lives of mother and children living in that area.

In the same interview with Daily Mail, the 38-year old celebrity said that going to Madagascar is an inspiring and humbling experience.

"This is my second year with UNICEF and Pampers but I've been working with UNICEF for years now. I just thought this campaign with perfect because Maternal and Newborn Tetanus is something we can eliminate from so many countries. This year i got to visit Madagascar and it was hard hitting, emotional but completely inspiring and humbling."

Emma Bunton divides her time to her career and her being a mother of two sons, Beau, 7 and Tate, 3.
