Aston Villa will face off against rival Manchester City on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Aston Villa, coming out of a 1-1 tie with the Tottenham Hotspurs, is expected to be the underdog of the match.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert said Super Frank is Manchester City's gain and Chelsea's loss, the Daily Mail reports. 

"He looks really top-drawer. I don't know him, but from the outside looking in everything about him is old-school," he said, according to the newspaper. 

"It doesn't matter how much he was getting to what he's getting now - I think you'll get him playing the same way. That's a big testament to him. He was always going to play the way he is playing. Maybe it's Chelsea's loss a little bit. Him coming in has made (City) stronger, no doubt about it."

Manchester City, coming out of a 4-2 win over Hull City, is expected to be the favorite of the match.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini said his team needs to restock with clean sheets, The Guardian reports. 

"I don't think we must try to win with outside benefit of our team," Pellegrini said, according to the site.

"We must try to win because we are better than CSKA playing away or at home. If not, if we need those kinds of things to win the game, then I don't think we are a big team. It's always good to play with a crowd that can go to the stadium."
