Katy Perry is the Dark Horse in this college quarterback playoff. Katy Perry stormed the field in pink to announce she has a crush on college quarterback Trevor Knight.  Katy appeared on ESPN's "College Gameday" as the celebrity guest picker Saturday and said she has a crush on Trevor Knight, who already has a hot date. Now Trevor Knight is torn between two Katies.

Katy Perry was making predictions on ESPN's College GameDay with hosts Lee Corso and Chris Fowler.

When Katy was asked if would put her money on the fourth-ranked Oklahoma team and No. 25 TCU, Perry chose Oklahoma, then looked into the camera with her interstellar eyes and proclaimed "I'm picking this one based one on... looks. Trevor Knight, do you hear me?"

Katy then made the universal pickup sign and said "The quarterback for Oklahoma, we don't mind. So I'm going to go with him. Trevor Knight, call me!"

TMZ reported that Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight has been dating a chemical engineering major named Kate Williams for over a year. According to William's Twitter postings, Knight's girlfriend is also very religious. Katy Perry, of course, used to be a Christian recording artist.

Trevor Knight was named MVP of the 2014 Sugar Bowl. At the game, Knight set a record, throwing  348 yards and four touchdowns. He led Oklahoma to a 45-31 upset of two-time reigning national champion Alabama. Knight began the 2014 season against Louisiana Tech, completing 19-34 passes for 253 yards, one touchdown and one interception and running four times for 17 yards.

Perry should probably stay out of the recording studio football poll, though. The Sooners lost 37-33.
