Most of the characters in "Discovery of Love" thought they were truly in love at one time or another. The characters played by Sung Joon and Jung Yu Mi thought they were so deeply in love that marriage was the next logical step.

Jung Yu Mi's sidekick, played by Kim Seul Gi, character thought her one-sided love was noble and her devotion would make her happy. But it turns out that love is more complicated than people's preconceptions.
