Quincy Jones New Discovery, Chart Topping Billboard Artist BLUSH, Embark on The Janoskian Got Cake Tour; Debut New Single On Arsenio Hall Show [VIDEO]

The chart topping Billboard artist, BLUSH, who were discovered/founded by legendary producer Quincy Jones will be performing at Irving Plaza on Saturday, October 11-12. Blush will perform on the same stage as hit pop boy band, The Janoskians.

BLUSH is in the middle of their Got Cake world tour. Quincy Jones says Blush are on their way to be "next big thing."

Blush has opened for major music forces internationally including The Black Eyed Peas, Jessie J, B.o.B, Diana Ross and Justin Bieber.

Blush is comprised of four beautiful Asian girls from four different countries. They are on a mission to spread their world-class talent and borderless music with fans across the globe.

Blush are the only Asian artists to have their first two singles debut in the Top 3 of a US Billboard chart. "Undivided" featuring Snoop Dogg was a smash but "Dance On" hit number 1.

Producer Quincy Jones said "These girls are the next big thing. They are the Hit Makers, they've got it!"

Blush premiered their newest single "Ain't Nobody Got Time For That", on the hit late night show, The Arsenio Hall Show. Blush features singers Alisha Angeli, Nacho and Victoria.

According to their web site: "Alisha began her musical endeavours at the age of 10 after being moved by Mandy Moore's song "Only Hope" in the movie A Walk to Remember. She is inspired by strong female artists and actors such as Beyoncé Knowles, Priyanka Chopra and many others because of their passion and dedication to their work."

"Angeli started singing at the age of 8 with her older sister and got her first taste of the spotlight in the Second Grade, where she won a singing competition, beating the 3 year reigning champion. Angeli went on to perform in contests such as Star for a Night where she was a finalist and even became a fan favorite in the TV show Pinoy Idol, as a Top 12 finalist.

"Angeli is one of five children in her very musical family. She is inspired by her childhood idol, singer Regine Velasquez, also from the Philip- pines, as well as Alicia Keys because of their voices, music and humble nature. Her musical background has inspired her to want to create her own music and she is currently learning to play the guitar."

Nacho, aka, "Natsuko started dancing at the age of 3 in her mother's own dance studio in her native Oita City. She has performed in two dance showcases each year since she was 6 years old and was involved in numerous dance competitions such as Head Hunter and Gangsta Boogie, placing first numerous times with her dance crew, SpongePants. Her moves along with her distinctive soulful voice make her a force to be reckoned with onstage."

"'Nacho' as she is known to her friends, is inspired by Christina Aguilera because of her powerful voice and raw emotion in her mu sic. She is also an avid fan of hip hop superstar Lil Wayne and his unique style and beats."

"Victoria has been singing since the day she could string together notes. She was influenced by movies such as Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music and could sing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious by the age of 3, when she also started ballet and tap dancing lessons, followed by ballroom and Latin dancing later in her life."

"No stranger to musical theatre, Victoria attended the Junior Music Choir program at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and has been involved in over 100 productions around Asia, including the 2008 Beijing Olympics Torch Relay song, "Light the Passion, Share the Dream".

"Alisha also has an extensive back- ground in dance and choreography. She has studied a variety of styles including Hip Hop, Bollywood, Sal- sa, Bellydance, Hawaiian and Indi- an Contemporary amongst others. Her experience has given her the opportunity to perform in front of audiences of 10,000 people as a back- up dancer for artists such as Eason Chan and Coco Lee."

Blush is getting ready to release their debut album this November. The will be working with Grammy award winning producer Damon Elliot. Elliott has produced such major artists as Destiny's Child, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.
