The Lions will face off against the Vikings on Sunday in a Week 6 match of the ongoing National Football League (NFL) 2014 season schedule.

The Lions, losing to the Bills 14-17 last week, is expected to be the favorite of the match. The Vikings, losing to the Packers 10-42, is considered to be the underdog for the game.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced on Thursday that the NFL is likely to set up a team in the California city next year.

Garcetti mentioned the league is "finally interested" in Los Angeles again and that the recent sale of the Clippers demonstrated "just how valuable the L.A. franchise could be," the Los Angeles Times reports.
