VIXX's Newest Music Video Draws Comparisons To 2NE1's 'Come Back Home'

Whether it's a happy coincident or true homage, VIXX's music video for "Error" is drawing ample comparisons to 2NE1's recent hit, "Come Back Home."

On October 13, VIXX unleashed their second mini-album titled "Error" along with the music video for the title track, with an appearance of KARA's Youngji. Featuring a cyborg concept, some observers believe the video takes inspiration from 2NE1's music video for "Come Back Home."

"With the strong cyborg visual, [the music video depicts] a sad love story about a man changing his body into a cyborg, only leaving his broken heart to protect himself from the wound of love," said VIXX's record label Jellyfish Entertainment.

On March 3, YG Entertainment released the music video for "Come Back Home," also showing a futuristic concept and a tragic love story.

"The music video of 'Come Back Home' was especially," said the official YG blog YG-Life. "While maintaining the powerful and charismatic images of 2NE1, the surreal alien-like ambience of a different planet was prominent. The equipment and outfits remind you of the outer space, and 2NE1's acting sets them apart from their usual image. The newest music video was even more embellished by the members' unique visual effects and dynamic computer graphic work that could be seen in movies."

"In love with VIXX's music video," tweeted JessicSvensson on Twitter. "Sort of reminded of 'Come Back Home' but the cyborg version. They even had the 2NE1 'Crush'-esque album logo."

"Cute how 2NE1 inspired VIXX's new music video, I love it," added SamySimonian on the same day as the music video release.

According to allkpop, VIXX will release the choreography video for "Error" should the music video reach one million views, while a special choreography video will be released for two million views. Three million, however, will earn fans the chance to take part in a live chat session with the band.
