Prometheus 2 Movie Release Date Delay: Prometheus 2 is coming, but the polymorphs and androids might not see the light of day.

"Prometheus 2" will feature numerous 'David' Android, all played by Michael Fassbender. The film stars Noomi Rapace and Rik Barnett

Prometheus star Noomi Rapace told MTV News that there might be a new antagonist, speculating "God, maybe? Or the devil? I don't know where [Ridley's] gonna take us but I can't wait to go there. I don't know what we're going to discover. Elizabeth Shaw wants to go to paradise. She can't go to earth, there's nothing left for her there really. She wants to go where [the Engineers] came from. She wants answers, she wants to know. I feel like I'm sharing her curiosity, but also her anger."

According to IMDb's official page for "Prometheus 2," the movie is due for release on 4 March 2016, but Ridley Scott confirmed that production issues delayed the Prometheus 2 release date. According to the Movie News Hound 20th Century Fox, Prometheus 2: Paradise is scheduled to it screens in April 2016.

Ridley Scott is currently finishing production on "The Martian." Ridley Scott, is in pre-production on the Matt Damon Mars survival adventure. The director will then have to pick whether he will take on Blade Runner 2 or Prometheus 2, which both have production-ready scripts. The screenplay to Prometheus 2 was written by Michael Green and Jack Paglen.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ridley Scott said the earlier drafts of the Bladerunner 2 script by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green were "written and it's damn good. Of course it involves Harrison, who is a survivor after all these years-despite the accident."

Ridley Scott confirmed reports that he is ready to direct the Prometheus sequel even with the current changes like new screenwriter Jake Paglen.

As far as the Prometheus 2 script, Scott said "Right now, as we speak, it's being written, I've had 15 drafts evolving. I definitely want to do that again because I really enjoyed doing 'Prometheus'... You'll probably have to go with [Noomi Rapace's Elizabeth Shaw] and [Michael Fassbender's android David] - without his head. Find out how he gets his head back on!"

Prometheus 2: Paradise writer Damon Lindelof said told Breathecast.com "Space exploration in the future is going to evolve into this idea that it's not just about going out there and finding planets to build colonies. It also has this inherent idea that the further we go out, the more we learn about ourselves. The characters in this movie are preoccupied by the idea: what are our origins?"

And so Noomi Rapace will face off against God.
