Rory McIlroy and Meghan Markle, as it turns out, are not dating. How do we know? The rumor has it that ‘Suits’ star brought her Canadian chef boyfriend to One Young World Summit 2014 held in Dublin. Looks like the Irish golfer is back to square one.

Irish Independent confirmed that “Meghan [Markle] is in a relationship with a Canadian chef for several months.” The couple has been “keeping their relationship out of the spotlight.”

But we do wonder why ‘Suits’ star and the Irish golfer let the rumor sustain for so long! Maybe Rory McIlroy tried to keep up with his dating appearances after his catastrophic break up with Caroline Wozniacki?

Caroline, on the other hand, is far too busy concerning herself with the New York City Marathon coming up in November to really consider what Rory McIlroy has been up to.

According to Irish Independent, Meghan Markle’s boyfriend “even flew to Ireland to be with her during her work with One Young World last week and they were loved-up behind the scenes.”

Sounds like Dublin was one hot date for ‘Suits’ star and her boyfriend.

As for Rory McIlroy, he has not been having a great week. According to BBC, the Irish golfer and Horizon Sports Management, his agency, has failed to reach an agreement. This means that he will be taking them to court and had to drop out of tournaments in China to appear in court.

Since China has such bad pollution, maybe it was in Rory’s best interest to avoid the games entirely.
