Kane And Lynch Movie news: The cult classic video game about two convicts Kane And Lynch is reported to hit the big screen on 2015 even after years of rumored releases.

In 2010, at Cannes, a photo that went viral showed a picture of what appeared like a teaser of Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx posted on the wall appeared to cast as Kane and Lynch for a movie adaptation. A tagline “From the video game comes the hit movie”.

This appeared to be a hoax, however, as three years have passed and still no signs of the video game turning into a movie.

In 2013, meanwhile, another movie is said to be set, as casts were reportedly named to be Vin Diesel and Gerard Butler would play the two convicts from the video game.

This year, things are looking to be good for Kane And Lynch fans as the game is looking to be like a movie in the works.

This time, a fan made video trailer of a Kane And Lynch movie adaptation is shown to have scenes with Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke, which appeared that would work perfectly if the two were casted.

All the hype for a movie adaptation of the cult classic video game became a boom after developer of the game IO Interactive halted what appeared to be every single game that wasn’t Hitman, which was their prime seller.

In June 2013 Square Enix VP Chris Glover announced, as reported by eurogamer.net, "The studio will focus resolutely on the future vision for the Hitman franchise and is in pre-production on a new AAA Hitman project. However we have taken the difficult decision to cancel other studio projects and initiatives at IO and reduce the workforce in this studio, which will impact almost half of the employees currently at IO, as we make internal adjustments to face the challenges of today's market."

"For those affected, we are extremely grateful for the hard work which they have contributed, and where it's possible and appropriate to relocate staff to open positions at other studios within the group, we will try to do so. We are also reaching out to other companies for outplacement opportunities. We sincerely wish them well in their future careers."
