Conan O’Brien Starts Epic Twitter War With Madeleine Albright, Former Secretary Of State Schools Late Night Host
Well, this is probably the most amusing Twitter war very in a long time.
Conan O'Brien inadvertently initiated a hilarious tweet-exchange on Thursday when he posted a message about his costume plans for Halloween.
I picked out my Halloween costume. I’m going as “Slutty Madeleine Albright.”

What the "Conan" host didn't expect was Madeleine Albright to respond to his post, and in winning fashion.
.@ConanOBrien I'm considering going as hunky Conan O'Brien - but that might be too far fetched. — Madeleine Albright (@madeleine) October 23, 2014
O'Brien then commented on the former Secretary of State's response, a move which kept the funny "Twitter war" rolling throughout the day.
.@Madeleine YES - My first twitter war with a former Secretary of State! You're next, George P. Shultz!

.@ConanOBrien Never get into a word war with a diplomat. We talk even more than comedians. — Madeleine Albright (@madeleine) October 23, 2014
Damn - Whenever I go toe to toe with @Madeleine Albright, she always wins.

.@ConanOBrien Ha, you're certainly not the first to make that mistake... But all in good fun! #TeamCoco — Madeleine Albright (@madeleine) October 24, 2014
In the end it was undeniably clear that Albright had completely owned O'Brien. Sounds like Conan will have to keep thinking when it comes to that Halloween costume.
And though Albright has about 72,400 followers on Twitter at the moment, compared to O'Brien's 12.5 million, something tells us the former Secretary's social media fans are about to skyrocket.
