West Ham United will face off against rival Manchester City on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

West Ham United, coming out of a 3-1 win over Burnley, is expected to be the underdog of the match.

Manchester City, coming out of a 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspurs, is expected to be the favorite of the match.

Controversy surrounds a recent decision made by the English Premier League to refund the cost of match tickets to 2,500 fans after Sunderland lost 8-0 at Southampton last week.

"We win and lose as a team, players, staff and fans," Sunderland captain John O'Shea said, according to CNN Sports.

"However we wanted to acknowledge and thank the supporters who traveled such a long way to give us their backing and despite everything, stayed with us until the final whistle."
