Usher Talks New Album; Good Kisser Singer Spills The Beans On Justin Bieber

It has been a long time coming and while fans may be eager about it, Usher's new album will not come out anytime soon.

Usher's new album, his eighth studio effort, called "UR" has been put on hold by the "Good Kisser" singer indefinitely, according to a report from Billboard.

"I just ain't ready," the R&B singer said in an interview. "Meaning I have more that I want to say and more that I want to do. My process is pretty different. L.A. Reid will tell you, it takes two albums to make one with Usher."

The album was slated for a release before the year ends, in conjuction with the singer's "UR Experience" tour, but has been put on hold "indefinitely."

"I'm taking my time with it," Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, in an earlier interview. "At the end of the day, all of this is just about having fun. You get in the studio [and] go with how you feel."

The record will reportedly showcase a lot of collaborations, and a couple of songs will feature Drake, Jermaine Dupri, Skrillex, Diplo, Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, Chris Brown, Pop & Oak and Nicki Minaj.

While fans have to wait for new hits from Usher's new album, the singer was generous enough to share a few details about his protege, Justin Bieber.

"Our relationship is more man-to-man now," he said about the Biebs. "He's making his own decisions and it's important to show support. I can say I'm not happy with all the choices my friend has made, but I'm supportive of him."

He added, "I try my hardest to give as much positive reinforcement as I can. I'll punch him in the f---ing chest when I need to, and give him a hug and kiss when I need to. It's more than just mentoring. I love the kid."

While Usher's new album might take a while, his tour is set to start on November 1.
