Girl group 2NE1 is being recognized on a global level and have recently been featured in The New York Times. 

On August 19, the New York Times featured 2NE1 as a music review on their site with the title, 'Korean Pop's Singular Melange'. The article focused on the highlights of the New Jersey concert at the Prudential Center. The article also mentioned 2NE1 to be "faster than late capitalism, hybridizing styles and sounds at will and pivoting quickly."

2NE1 is making their mark globally with their 'NEW EVOLUTION' tour. They are also the first K-Pop girl group to hold a world tour.

K-Pop is continuing to grow in many different parts of the world and is gaining a diverse group of fans.

2NE1 will continue their tour at the Nokia Theater in L.A on Friday.
