EXO Tao & Chanyeol To Feature On Zhoumi's Solo Album

Two EXO members will be featured on Zhoumi's upcoming solo album.

Super Junior-M's Zhoumi will be releasing his solo debut EP "Rewind" on October 31, and EXO's Chanyeol and Tao will be featured rappers on the title track, "Rewind." EXO-K member Chanyeol will feature on the Korean version of "Rewind," while EXO-M's Tao's vocals will be heard on the Chinese version of the same song.

SM Entertainment revealed that the company would debut a new male solo artist on October 27 with an anonymous image. The next day, the entertainment company confirmed that the Super Junior-M member would be debuting with "Rewind." The song will be released in both Korean and Chinese.

It is unknown whether Chanyeol or Tao will appear during Zhoumi's live performances for "Rewind."

Zhoumi's solo debuts follows fellow that of Super Junior-M member Henry. Whereas Henry's style is influenced by dance music, the Korea Herald says that Zhoumi will be promoting as a ballad singer.

"Rewind" will be a soul-pop song with a retro feel to it, about a man who wishes he could travel back in time to reunite with a former lover.

This will be the third male solo artist that SM Entertainment has launched in the past two years, following Henry Lau and SHINee's Taemin. Each of the solo artists are members of SM's idol groups.

Zhoumi has promoted not only as a member of Super Junior-M, but also as a member of SM The Ballad. He has experience composing songs for Super Junior-M, Kangta, EXO-M, and Tasty, but SM Entertainment has not yet confirmed that a self-composed song will be included on "Rewind."

The "Rewind" mini album will be released online on October 31, while the physical album will be released on November 3 in South Korea.
