The Motoring Crunch and Master Herald unveil some information on the upcoming 2015 Ford Edge, in which we will find out its specs, fuel economy and features that the SUV will be offered.

The 2015 Ford Edge, according to motoring Crunch will come in 4 trims, they are the SE, SEL, Sport and Titanium. There are also three engine variants for the users to choose from, they are the 2.0 liter Ecoboost four cylinder, the 2.7 liter Ecoboost V6 and lastly, the 3.5 liter V6 engine. All of the three engine variants will be paired with 6 speed automatic transmission, yet this is not yet confirmed at the moment, according to the Master Herald.

Furthermore, in the report of the Motoring Crunch, the 2015 Ford Edge will feature adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering system, active park assist, collision warning with brake support, glove box-mounted airbag system, inflatable seat belts, hand-free boot opener and others.

According to the Master Herald's report, the adaptive cruise control applies the brakes once the driver gets too close to the vehicle ahead of him. The active steering system is responsible for making the handling more responsive. However, the collision detection is a gadget which can calculate the present acceleration, distance and speed of the vehicle and can automatically apply the brakes when necessary.

As of this moment there is not fixed date if when the 2015 Ford Edge will be released in the market, since the company did not disclose any information about it.
