The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Release Date, Trailer, Gameplay Demo For Xbox One, PS4, PC : CD Projekt Red Reveals Details About No Branching Story, No Auto-Leveling, New Potion, And Combat Systems [VIDEO]

"Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt" is coming soon, and all the news about the game points to a really stunning final product. "The Witcher 3" release date will be February 24.

The most recent news is that the development team has released a teaser for the opening cinematic, which you can watch below.

In a recent interview designer Damien Monnier explained that each area of the game has its own independent ecosystem that can be disrupted by Geralt. You can watch the full video explaining it below. Community Managers Marcin Momot and Tadek Zielinski recently took to YouTube to answer 20 questions about the upcoming RPG.

CD Projekt RED has talked about its plans for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's upcoming downloadable packages, in addition to once again asserting their stance against the digital rights management inclusion in video games.

"We don't want to assault anyone", said head of marketing and PR Michal Platkow-Gilewski. "Each time we are thinking about a decision, the first rule is we have to treat gamers like we'd like to be treated. We don't believe in DRM because we hate DRM. It also doesn't protect; not really. Games are cracked in minutes, hours, or days, but they're always cracked. If you want to pirate, you'll find a way. But if you're a committed gamer and are buying the game, why should we place a barrier on you? Then, with DLC, it's small content. Like one-thousandth of the whole game. Why should you charge for that? If it's small, give it for free. I know it's not always possible or easy, but this is what we want to give gamers; a little bit of love, which we'd like to get from other developers as gamers ourselves".

For one your horse comes at when you wistle and has its own storage space.

The potion system is being overhauled again, and Geralt will be able to use them in combat this time around rather than needing to consume them in advance. Momot and Zielinski also explained that while the game takes place in an open world, enemies won't auto-scale, meaning that if you are a level one and walk into a level 10 area, things are going to get messy.

There also will be no time limits for each mission. CD Projekt RED wants fans to take their time with the game as a whole, and play it at their own pace. There will be times when the game will prompt that you finish a task quickly, and these will be necessitated by something important to the story.

There are many things you can do outside of the main quest. You can race on horses, on boats, get into fistfights, hunt monsters for a living. There will also be points of interest, a new system that allows you to find something new to do, so that you can go anywhere and not be bored. The game will generate these random encounters in such a way that you can choose to engage in them or not.

Again drawing a line from "The Witcher" and other games, CD Projekt RED explains Geralt is not out to kill as many people as he can. There are many missions which will require nonviolent solutions. CD Projekt RED's focus is for Geralt to make meaningful choices.

These meaningful choices will affect the outcome of the game. However, The Witcher 3 will not have branching storylines. CD Projekt RED wanted everyone to experience a single cohesive main storyline as it is.

There will be NPC monsters. Sometimes, you will interact with them in some of your missions.

Moviepilot reports, "Using whatever weapons and armour you can scavenge, buy or forge, the challenge is to inch your way through this damned and deadly place, now and then coming across gigantic bosses that take especial valour and tenacity to kill. The eventual aim is to make it out alive, but there are about 50-60 hours of creative cruelty between you and that goal.

"A mature, non-linear story drawn from player decisions, full of unexpected events and believable, memorable characters, with their own motivations and ambitions."

"Combat has been redesigned in order to combine traditional RPG elements with the speed and precision of a dedicated fighting game. All of these gameplay features are integrated into a robust RPG system at the heart of the game."

"There's a lot of magic between the third Witcher and Xbox One - we felt it since receiving development kits some time ago. A lot of effort on our side was made to usher the potential of the next generation with a new kind of RPG experience - for the first time we could open the world to the extent we wanted and tell the story with the flair it deserves. I'm confident that we'll deliver something groundbreaking and I hope, based on what we've released today, you're seeing this as well.", Adam Badowski.

The Fuse Joplin reports, " The Witcher 3 will leave you biting your nails while you try to take a decision. It is not about making a good or bad decision, it is about choosing the lesser harmful one. You may need to kill innocent men, who happen to be the marked ones by creepy monsters. The only thing you should be thinking of is saving hundreds of villagers for the price of one. The morality system works great in the game and it does have a long term impact, based on your choice."

"The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt" the game is set to be released on February 24, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Check back for more information as we get closer to the release date.
