The first album and an Asian tour are in the works for 5urprise, who will be officially making their debut as singers this month.

5urprise was launched by talent agency Fantagio in September 2013. The group consists of five male members, Seo Kang Joon, Gong Myung, Yoo Il, Kang Tae Oh, and Lee Tae Hwan. The group came into existence through Fantagio's "Actor's League" program which was designed to discover talented actors. After their acceptance from the program they trained for two years before showing their face to the public eye. 

Instead of debuting as singers first, they debuted as actors in a 12-episode mobile drama with Kim So Eun. Seo Kang Joon formally debuted on television drama through his role in the drama "Sly and Single." 

Now, it has been officially announced that 5urprise is preparing to release their first album later this month and are also on the stages of preparing for a six country Asian tour. 

The first album will be titled, "5urprise 1st Single - From My Heart," and it will be produced by Cho Young Soo and Kim Eana. 

Although all five members are currently busy with their individual activities, they found time to meet together and record their first album. Not only do they plan to reach out to fans in Asia but they have goals to reach out to a global audience in general. They also will continue to pursue acting careers during their time in creating music.

5urprise will officially be releasing their album on November 18 with filming for their music video begining on November 4. To kick off promotions for the album, the group will be holding a showcase concert, Surprise Party, on November 18, which will also mark the official start to their tour.

After their showcase in Korea, they will be expanding to Japan, China, Thailand, and other countries around Asia.
