The free messaging app is compatible with Android, iOS, Windows Phone user, as well as on Nokia S40, Symbian and BlackBerry.
Meanwhile, in terms of privacy and security, according to the report of Fuse Joplin, WeChat is more secure, since the user will send a request to a contact by tapping the Add contact icon, if it is approved then the user will can send a message. However, in WhatsApp there is no such feature.
