2015 Kia Optima: First Car That Will Not Come With Pure Petrol Mill, Take A Closer Look

The 2015 Kia Optima has been disclosed that it will be different from its predecessor.

In the report of the Motoring Crunch, the 2015 Kia Optima will be the first car that "will not be coming with pure petrol mill."

The 2015 Kia Optima, according to Motoring Crunch will come in two variants, the first one is the plug-in hybrid engine and the second one is the diesel engine.

According to the report of the Auto Middle East, the said car will offer a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine, which is capable of sending 163 horsepower and 231 Nm of torque and mated to a 6 speed transmission.

Furthermore, the 2015 Kia Optima will look better, "the Optima wears mug with the trademark Tiger Nose grille, sharp LED integrated headlights and revised fog lamps," according to the Auto Middle East.

Moreover, in terms of the interior quality, the seats will be made of leather and it will be larger. In the report of Auto Express, the company disclosed limited information with regards to the new car. But it is confirmed that a "model featuring a development of the current 1.7 CRDi diesel engine will be offered."

Aside from that, Kia's head of overseas marketing Spencer Cho said in the report of Auto Express that the company is targeting a class-leading electric-only range with the plug-in.

"Look at the Soul EV, apart from the Tesla it has the longest range of any of its competitors," he said. "In the same way we are trying to extend EV range for plug-in hybrids, too." Cho said.
